We are fully trained and experienced in all above the waist piercings, we are constantly updating to keep abreast of the latest advances in hygiene, sterilisation, jewellery and healing in body piercing.

We are happy to give you a free no obligation consultation and offer a free after care service.

We would hope you feel free to ask your piercer any questions regarding that or future piercings.

You are invited to return at any time with any concerns or queries. We would never regard you as a nuisance.

A consent form will be required to be completed and signed, and for under 16 year olds the parental consent part of the form will also need to be completed.
The responsible adult giving consent for under 16 year olds is required to be the parent/guardian, another relative may consent on the parents behalf as long as they undertake the responsibility with the parents consent. Older siblings or friends may NOT consent.

You sign a form which states that you are completing the form honestly, where you also state your age, we DO refuse unaccompanied under 16 year olds. It needs mentioning however (as often asked) that to consent, does not require the adult to watch!!!

Whichever piercing is your choice you will find that in fact the lengthiest part of the experience is trying to choose from our range of body jewellery - which colour, with an attachment of a gemstone, cone or spike etc. The piercing itself is as quick and painless as possible.

There are a number of notices displayed in the studio , that you are advised to read and understand before proceeding, such as Medical Conditions that you are required to inform your piercer of if any apply, and Possible Risks of Piercing. We would hope you read these, to be fully informed as to know what to expect, we endeavour to mention ALL applicable possibilities, though "sods law" is the one thing not mentioned .

There are also certificates of piercing training, First Aid certificates, information about the materials used for piercing and a copy of the Certificate Of Conformity for the jewellery that we use.

Aftercare Instructions

Aftercare Instructions, for skin piercings

  • Never touch the piercing with dirty hands.
  • Clean once a day using Isopropyl based antiseptic lotion or sea salt solution, NEVER use surgical spirit & if the product requires watering down always use boiled water so its sterile & ONLY use when cold!
  • Do not turn the jewellery .why?
  • Do not panic if there is a discharge this is common, just part of the healing process.
  • If you have any concerns do not hesitate to contact, me I would never regard you as nuisance.
  • Do not change your jewellery until fully healed, the piercing will heal from the outside first. Just because it looks OK is not a true indication it is FULLY healed, always best to get it changed professionally.

Aftercare Instructions for Oral Piercings
ie Tongue/lip/madonna etc

  • Never touch your piercing with dirty hands.
  • Try to leave lip/tongue alone, constantly touching it will only prolong the swelling.
  • Clean 4/5 times a day with a recommended mouth wash i.e. CHORSDOYL.
  • You will be initially more comfortable with soft food.
  • Food or drink hot in temperature or taste is to be avoided.
  • Cold foods are best to keep the swelling down Eat Ice-cream, ice lollies. Drink plenty of water.

Tongue piercing ONLY
The bar will need changing as the swelling goes down, this will be 5-10 days later and is included in the price, 4mm loose required, do not leave it, a loose bar can cause a tear & damage teeth.

Ear piercing with Caflon Studs Aftercare Instruction
  • If the instructions on how to pierce ears contained in this manual are followed stringently the potential problems following a piercing will have been minimised. However, the importance of aftercare cannot be overemphasised
  • The client should be given the following advice for aftercare.
To prevent infection
  • Do not fiddle with the ears, avoid unnecessary handling of the ear studs. You NEVER rotate earrings you can break open the scarring tissue.
  • Do not replace studs with other earrings during the initial 6 week period ( 12 weeks for cartilage)
  • Wash hands before touching the stud or ear and cleanse the pierced area twice a day without removing the earrings by lightly applying Caflon Ear Care Solution to the front and back of the pierced area.
  • Do not allow soap or shampoo to build up behind the stud or clasp Rinse well with Caflon Ear Care Solution after bathing.
  • Between cleanings, keep pierced area DRY.
  • Cover the ears when spraying perfume, antiperspirant , hairspray.
  • Do not push the butterfly clasp along the post toward the ear. The butterfly clasp should always be positioned at the end of the post.
  • Minor pain/ redness may occur immediatly- this is normal. This should settle within 48 hours provided the client faithfully follows proper after care. If undue pain/swelling occurs advise the client to consult their physician immediatly but warn them not to remove the studs until they have consulted their doctor.
  • To prevent piercings from closing
  • Do not take studs out for at least 4-6 weeks (12 weeks for cartilage)
General Points
  • After 6 weeks the stud can be removed from the ear lobe (12 weeks for cartilage) and another post type earring should be worn... It is important however that the earrings are not replaced completely by a new pair, but are merely substituted for no more than a few hours at a time because of perhaps a special occasion, so that the original Caflon studs are worn the vast majority of the time, particularly at night, until thoroughly sure no adverse reaction to other metals or materials in the lobe will occur.
  • The post should be 24 ct Gold Plated or Stainless Steel, and this type should be worn for at least 2 months following the healing period. The wearing of heavy earrings at any time may cause the piercing hole to stretch leaving a slit effect to the piercing's.
  • Caflon Ear Care Solution is suggested, though an antiseptic with 70% alcohol content is acceptible.
  • During the first year of piercing the client should avoid going longer than 24 hours without wearing earrings. This will ensure that the piercing's will not close.
  • If the client follows these aftercare instructions faithfully they will, in later years, have a small smooth round hole in each ear, never a slit.
